The Events


Where We Play

The Serenaders is a band based in Silicon Valley; we play primarily on the San Francisco Peninsula between San Jose and San Francisco (inclusive).

The band plays for many types of events: 

  • Holiday celebrations (including Valentine’s Day, Independence Day, and Christmas)
  • Birthday, anniversary, and wedding celebrations 
  • Dinner dances 
  • Concerts in the park and at VA hospitals (charity events)   

And the band has played at many different venues: 

  • Clubs and hotels from Santa Cruz to San Francisco 
  • Community centers 
  • Retirement communities 
  • Parks and outdoor events.

San Jose Jazz Summer Fest

On August 11, 2018, and again on August 10, 2019, the Serenaders performed on the Swing Stage at San Jose Jazz Summer Fest.


Santana Row

In July and October, 2018, and again in July, 2019, the band performed on the Park Valencia stage at Santana Row (an inviting corner of San Jose). (photo by Bob Kimsey)



In July, 2019, the Serenaders performed at Angelicas, an inviting dinner club on Main Street in downtown Redwood City.


New Year's Eve

Palo Alto Veterans Administration

For 33 years, the Serenaders provided free summer concerts at Ortega Park, Sunnyvale.
